Writers of the Week

We have got a little bit behind with our Writers of the week again, so it's time for a catch up!

Our last winner was...

Lucie!

Lucie wrote a fabulous "In the Universe" poem, with some amazing descriptions. A highlight of her poem was her fantastic use of similes. Here is her poem...

In the Universe...
The Angel falls is a wall of fresh, clean water, it is stunning.

In the Universe...
The Great Wall of China stands there and poses like a statue.

In the Universe...
Pluto sits and thinks and thinks about all of his memories about being a planet.

In the Universe...
The Cartwheel Galaxy is spinning in circles like a ballet dancer.

Earlier in our "Space" topic...

Hannah

wrote a fabulous riddle to describe a planet. She used her knowledge from her science work, and combined it with some marvellous descriptions to create her riddle.
