Riddles

This week in literacy we have been learning about riddles.

In class we all wrote a riddle to describe ourselves.

We learnt that riddles should:
  • Start each clue on a new line
  • Have a capital letter, and full stop or exclamation mark for each clue
  • Describe something or someone
  • Use exciting words
  • Use connectives for some clues
  • Imagine that the person or thing being described is talking
  • Start with the hardest clue, and get easier
Now please leave a riddle for us to guess!
