India

Last week our Unusual Building was the Taj Mahal, in India.

In our topic lessons, we spent lots of time finding out about the Taj Mahal, and the country of India (We even had a Taj Mahal building competition! We also had an art lesson focusing on lots of Indian art, and learnt our own Indian dance routin in PE!

In literacy we used the computers to write non-fiction pages about India, to show what we had learnt.

Here are some photos of our finished India display board...

...And here are some links to our writing, so you can read it at home!

  4. Thanks very much and congratulations for your helpful blog and ideas. I'm an English teacher. Actually I’m working in a primary public school in Spain with children from three to six years old. I have included some educational websites sites in my blog. They are a very good resource for my classes. http://espemoreno.blogspot.com.es/ El Blog de Espe.
