After creating our class story about the landing in our playground, we looked at the underlying plot;
Opening-Hear a mysterious crash
Build-Up-Find something unusual
Problem-Need to fix or change the mysterious object
Resolution-The main character saves the day
Ending-Everything goes back to normal, until...
We then used this plot to innovate and create a new class story. This time we used a story mountain to plan the basic plot. Then children worked in groups to plan, create and perform a section of the story. We then videoed the performances and put them together to see the whole story...
On Thursday and Friday we used the same basic, underlying plot to plan and write our own mystery landing stories. Look out for them coming soon!
